Welp it is Thursday, and you know what thank means, lets talk about area codes and Apache’s. I have some time on my hands today. As I sit in my cubicle sweating out the sins of yesterday, I begin to wonder where the rest of my co-workers are.
There are 11 people that currently work in my department and somehow, I am the only one that decided to show up today. As mentioned in previous writings, as surveillance from our corporate overlords increase these people that don’t show up to work will be brought to justice and publicly shamed in the town square.
I had to send an email to the CEO of my undisclosed Fortune 500 company (not to brag) yesterday and that was very stressful. It took about 4 hours to dictate this email as I read and right at a 4th grade level. Speaking of that I tried to do long division on paper holy crow that shits impossible. How does it even work? Exhibit 7 billion why math is for nerds.
So, let’s talk about the greatest band ever, Oasis, for a second. In October we are coming up on the 30-year anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe. Just an absolute class album that has instant classics such as Rock n Roll Star, Live Forever, Supersonic, and Slide Away. Married With Children is also amazing and so is Up In The Sky, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Digsy’s Dinner, and Whatever from the bonus tracks.
Ok let’s get to the point. Later in 2024 Liam Gallagher, the lead singer, is going on tour and is playing all the songs from the Definitely Maybe album. The brothers will reunite with each other, and the world will know joy again. Screaming guitars, cigarettes, and beers this is what its all about. #OasisForever
Alright Area Code time. Brevard County is located east of Orlando on the Atlantic Ocean. Located inside Brevard County is the United States crucible of innovation and technology NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Prior to 1999 the area code for this county was 407. Local Florida man Ozzie Osgood petitioned for the area code to be changed and he wanted it changed to 321.
Get it because 3 2 1 liftoff? Space joke! So, on November 1, 1999, the 43 Governor of Florida Low Energy Jeb Bush signed it in and that’s how Brevard County got its area code. Also, when looking into this there is an entire Wikipedia.com page dedicated to nicknames Trump has called people.
I do vacations sometime. There is an undisclosed beach as to where I take my bride to frolic in the sand and water east of Mobile, Alabama, USA, Earth. The date, October 25, 1886 a train pulls into the station about an hour east of Mobile, Alabama, USA, Earth. Its cargo, 16 Apache warriors that had been hunted down and captured in the western territories by the United States government. The most famous of these Apache warriors, a man that when by the name Geronimo.
Geronimo was an Apache leader who led his people to protect their land, predominantly in the New Mexico area, against the United States. Long story short he was great to protecting his land, so good at it the United States captured him.
He was imprisoned in an impenetrable fortress on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico in a please called Fort Pickens. He was so famous that the fort basically let people come in and look at him for 50 cents a pop. According to localpulse.com on one Saturday 459 came to see the forts biggest attraction. That all on that, Ive been there so I thought it was cool.
