Good morning everyone I hope you are doing well. Apparently the NBA draft was last night and according to twitter, Grizzlies fans like the two or three picks that the Grizzlies got. I was not aware of these young men’s work so I will spend the rest of the day watching their highlights trying to convince myself that a few +30 draft picks will be able to help our team.
We are not here to talk about that we are here to talk about the greatest human to ever grace god’s great earth, Dolly Rebecca Parton. The pride of Pittman Center, Tennessee was born in 1946 (after the fall of the Nazi’s) to Avie Lee Caroline and Robert Lee Parton Sr. Her music has be heard by millions and people love her but that’s not what this is about.
- The Dollywood Foundation – mails books to kids every month from birth to kindergarten. Has send over 100 million books to kids.
- Raised money for the American Red Cross, AIDS, and help raise money to build a hospital and cancer center.
- Helped women entertainers fight for comparable pay.
- Helped preserve bald eagles and even has her own bald eagle sanctuary at Dollywood.
- After the 2016 fires in the Great Smokey Mountains she raised around 9 million dollars for the people effected.
- Oh yeah she fucking donated a million dollars to COVID-19 to end it.
- Also a ton more stuff I don’t have time to elaborate on right now.
You know you have a lot of awards and honors when it has its own Wikipedia page. Long story short Dolly is an angel among us and I love her. I hope one day I will be able to hug her and possibly start a relationship with her. Then I could get unlimited passes to Dollywood and ride the screaming eagle as much as I please. I could go on about my love forever but I need to go do some work right now. So everyone have a great day and try to be like Dolly.
