Well happy Thursday I hope everyone is doing well and getting excited for the long weekend they are about to have. This week has been ok and fun levels are starting to dip down again after they were up earlier in the week. It just won’t stop raining and being dark, it is hard to be happy when outside is like that.
What makes me happy? I think music does, so let’s look have to the first concert I ever went too. I was a young tot, maybe not even in middle school yet and was excited at what the world had to offer. The family had taken my family and I had gone down to an undisclosed beach in the western part of Florida for vacation.
There was some band playing for free, no great, and their name was Foghat. If you are not aware of Foghat they are an English rock band from 70’s and 80’s. They are famous for Slow Ride, that’s it. This was the first time I realized other people were different because the sewer rats that came to this FREE concert were amongst the grossest people to ever walk the earth. You ever feeling down go to a free concert anywhere in Florida.
Let me try and think what the last concert I went to was, give me a minute and let me think I’ve only had one coffee. Just scrolled though my phone I think the last one would have been The Backstreet Boys who were here August 27 of 2019. The concert was awesome and Everybody is one of the greatest songs every. Speaking of that song I want This is The End the other day and that movie is freaking awesome and they use that Everybody song by the Backstreet Boys. Go watch that movie it’s streaming on something.
I am currently watching a concert video of the Avett Brothers from Charlotte Motor Speedway at which they performed on August 29th of last month. Unsurprisingly it is awesome, they are awesome, and one of the Brothers is married to Dexter’s sister Deb of the show called Dexter which aired on ShowTime from October 2006- September 2013. If you want to watch it go on the Avett Brother’s Reddit page and enjoy, if not whatever. Also if you don’t catch some emotions listening to No Hard Feelings or Murder in the City, you are a monster and should be institutionalized.
I was very excited for music fest this year because a guy named Liam Gallagher was coming to perform his music for the event. Liam was the lead singer of the greatest band ever, Oasis. The bands two main members where Liam and his brother Noel who absolutely fucking hate each other, look it up. I will always be #TEAMNOEL but hell I’ll go see Liam anyway of the week. Basically what I saying Oasis is amazing and the fucking best, and f Liam you douche bag. But everything was cancelled and I’m sitting at a keyboard typing to no one as it rains lols.
Alright I am going to get back to work because they week has been a living hell, but at least I’m playing golf on Saturday (smiley face emoji). Also I listen to music someone send me something new to listen too, I’ve been listening to the same songs for the last ten years and I feel it’s time to diversify my portfolio.
