Hello everyone I hope you are doing amazing and excited to have an amazing Friday and an awesome weekend. Yesterday I took the day off because I just really wasn’t feeling up to doing anything yesterday. I just wanted to sit on my futon, have a drink, and watch the XFILES until I went to sleep and let me tell you that exactly what I did.
The XFILES is awesome and anyone that that enjoys syfy, mysteries, and giant government conspiracies this is the show for you. It stars the beautiful David Duchovny (of Californication fame) and the stunning Gillian Anderson. Honestly you can watch it in any order because each week is a different “monster of the week”. There are a few episodes, generally at the beginning and end of a season, which pertains to the giant government conspiracy that you will have to watch to find out what it is.
Let’s talk about another show. The Boys. I have spoken about this show before but it is absolutely incredible and a season two is coming out in September so you have time to catch up. Let me give you a little synopsis of the show, “it follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they fight back against super powered individuals who abuse their abilities.” It great. For you smooth brains out there, yes there are a lot of naked people, killing, and stuff blowing up. It’s on amazon dot com.
Since I was feeling a little down the past few days I decided to watch a new standup comedy special and that was the special of Jim Jeffries. It was really good and there was a lot of laughs. If you have time to go watch his FX show Legit that show was hilarious. I also watch Eric Andres new one on Netflix and it was not for me, I like his show though.
I’m going to be honest I went down a weird rabbit hole of the internet yesterday. No it was not cartoon porn, it was the McDonald’s Wiki page. While on this page I would just click random article until something interesting came up, and I will not share with you some of my favorites.
Blitz Box – Family meal of two quarter pounders with cheese, two fries, and 20 piece chicken nuggets. For $14.99 and 2,940 calories. It was a promotional thing for a few NFL teams. On the wiki it says it has caused multiple deaths over the years. Got to follow up on that.
Terry Castillo – an American actress who portrayed the McDonald’s character of Grimace in television commercials. Check the picture out.
McJordan Special – a special Michael Jordan quarter pounder with bacon and barbecue sauce. Sounds so awesome.
McPizza – I mean this speaks for itself, they tried to do a pizza. It was discontinued by most restaurants by 2000 but there is a store in Orlando, Florida that is the only store to still serve it.
Hula Burger – introduced in the 1960’s to give Catholics an option to not eat meat on Friday, the burger was a slice of grilled pineapple with cheese on a bun. Unsurprisingly it did not last long.
McChoco Potato – my personal favorite. This was a tray of fires served with white and chocolate fudge sauce poured on the top of the fries. It was introduced in 2016 in McDonald’s Japanese restaurants.
Mashed Potato Burger – This is a burger topped with bacon, lettuce and a big ole scoop of mashed potatoes. Funniest thing is that no this burger in not in America, it is only in the Chinese market lol.

Welp not really too many thing going on this weekend except we are having a little engagement party with a few people and we will be social distancing the whole time. This will be held Saturday night and hopefully won’t go on too long because I am already tired. Also I am thinking about playing golf Sunday but I am scared that I may have too much to drink during the party on Saturday. We will see what happens.
