Happy Tuesday everyone I hope yall had an amazing weekend and hope you get through this day alright. It was a very nice weekend of fellowship, golf, and heavy boozing. It was a wonderful long weekend shout out to Tiger and Manning. Unfortunately another one of my favorite baseball teams, the brother’s, got rained out again and that made me sad.
Few things, I ordered an exercise bike and I going to get in really good shape. I watched Grown Ups yesterday and that movie is dumb as shit but is so funny. My golf game is really starting to get good and I would not be surprised if you see me on the PGA tour in the next few years. Also this weekend a squad is going to the lake and it will be an entire weekend of absolute debauchery.
I watched Jerry Seinfeld’s new standup special and it’s not great. I get that he was like a ground breaking comedian back in the day but his style/material has aged like a banana. It’s honestly just boring and I’m sure he got paid 20 million dollars from Netflix. I was thinking about this the other day but who do you think is the most famous person that knows who you are? I met Tobias Harris, Josh Dobbs, and AJ Johnson at different points during college but there is no chance they remember a dumpy kid they met at a party for 4 seconds. I remember I was so hammered after the Vol’s Spring game back in the day and there was a huge block party that shutdown the whole street and I remember seeing Dobbs and I was like omg you did so good today, you threw all those balls perfectly into those nets. He just stared at me and walked away.
I also remember seeing AJ Johnson at the same party with a giant gold chain on and a lion shirt, I didn’t say anything because he is one of the most intimidating people on earth. This was also the same night that the cop’s shutdown the entire block party and some poor kid got choked by a cop and thrown in the back of a riot van. Oh one time I met Johnny Damon for a minute and told him he’s got the nicest ass in the league. I said that because I believe in the blockbuster movie Fever Pitch one on the Red Sox fans yells that at him. Him and his smoke show of a wife looked at me and he said thanks in a very confused way and walked away.
One time my friend Big T and I were at a Memphis Music Hall of Fame induction thing and we were in like to get drink and this group of 4 guys skipped up. Credit to them, they realized what they had done and apologized and bought our drinks, double Crown and cokes. The biggest guy in there group looked at us and said do you know who this is?
Big Steak and I looked at all the men in the group and were like where you on the latest episode of Live PD? That a joke, I think if we said that we would have been killed. But the fat guy says this is Spondooly and pointed at a guy. This guy really expected two white guys to somehow know that terrible 35 year old sound cloud rapper. It was ridiculous, but thanks for the drinks.
