*Did no proofreading because have to watch Black Keys
Happy Friday everyone we freaking made it! Reward yourself with a nice cold beer or a strong scotch on the rocks. Drinking at home is tight because you do home pours that would usually be a double or triple at a bar, but you can just be like I only had three drinks while you are pissing your pants and drooling.
The golf group has been worried all week due to weather dot com saying that basically the great flood of Noah’s ark is coming this weekend. The guys have come to the consciences that weather dot com is backed somehow by big anti-golf companies and wants people not to have fun outside. Weather dot com is officially cancelled. The golf guys would like to endorse the official weather site of them and this blog will for now be Accuweather dot com. There work is impeccable and they do not change their weather modules based on the interests of the big money that backs them.
Well I don’t really have any big plans for today other than hoping that the big ole dummy from the plumbing company comes over and fixes my water heater. They came out Monday to fix it, said they did not have the part, and haven’t contacted me since then. I called twice and they assured me that they are working hard to procure the part, but I have my doubts. I game that certain part a goog on the internet and, shockingly, they are a lot in stock at the home depot and Lowes for a price of 7 dollars. This is frustrating, I’m going to call dummy.
Yesterday was a long day so I fell down a YouTube dot com rabbit hole of a band called Hall and Oates. I love Rich Girl, but I was very unaware of the vast catalog of absolute bangers. I’m going to attach a playlist of their best songs. Big shouts to the song Maneater, that song is fire and if I remember correctly Nelly Furtado did a cover of it back in the mid 2000’s.
They have a song named Say it Isn’t So which is also a song by the American rock band Weezer. I think I’m going to start just searching a song name on Spotify and listen to all the songs with that song title and decide which one is better. I also might not do it because that seems like more effort and work than I would be willing to put into something dumb like this.
As I am typing this it is around 8:30 in the morning and my beloved CTBC Brothers are down 2-1 needing to score a run in the top of the ninth the extend the game. I will say that the UniLions have a very talented squad and have shut down the Brother when they have had runners and scoring position and their cheerleader are a lot better than that scumbag team we played yesterday. Welp the first guy just struck out. Now back to back strikeouts. Whatever.
Woah just realized this marks 40 days of me be forced to work for home by the giant corporation that basically owns me. It been a really good 40 days and I can do this working from home thing pretty easily at this point. I do fear that I am coming close to watching every YouTube dot com video but this is all still fun. Judging by some high levels meeting I have not been invited to, but have heard through the grapevine of what was said, I think I have about another 30 days in possibly.
I feel like Jesus, not in the magic trick sense, but that I have been wondering around this house for 40 days and 40 nights and I guess I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Honestly what I have learned in this whole thing is that there is basically no reason for me to ever have to go back into work in the office. And also my “essential employee status” is wildly overblow and I would be willing to work anywhere because I don’t really like my job. A pal and I want to get into the drug game but sticking to pills and stuff for the lonely housewives out in the burbs. Still working on that plan.
Alright I’m going to work and try and get some shit done so I can tan and play video games the rest of the day. I love you all and I hope you all stay safe. Bye bye. Oh shit the Black Keys are having a concert on YouTube dot com in a few minutes.
This Song is Neat:
