Alright everyone we made it through another weekend in the midst of this worldwide pandemic and things are going good. Each day that goes by seems more meaningless than the last. That reminds me of a funny line from an SNL skit when the husband says to the wife, “each word more useless than the last”, that’s how the days feel haha.
It was a very nice weekend and I did a lot of fun things and got some really good sleep. Friday night the lady and I hung out, watched the movie Good Boys, made a fire, and ate dinner together, it was a wonderful. Saturday I woke up early and headed out to the golf course to play a round with the guys. We had a great time and I shot a 90 which is pretty good for the like 4th round of the season.
After golf I came home jumping into the inflatable pool in the backyard and made the ole lady rub 70 spf sunscreen on me. That shit is thicker than toothpaste. Then that night we ordered a ton of chicken wings and facetimed with some friends.
Yesterday my pal Country Boy Will and his lady friends dropped of some Smirnoff ices on our front door step, in which I have to imagine is the first drive by icing. It was a nice gesture and it was great to see them from a distance. Also Country Boy Will left me a little weed gummy which I took, but im not sure it worked. I did sleep like a little baby last night so maybe I did.
