Horology
No this is not the academic study of whores, it’s the study of the measurements of time. Things that would measure time include and, are not limited to, clocks, watches, clockwork, sundials, hourglasses, clepsydras, timers, time recorders, marine chronometers, and atomic clocks.
People that study horology are call horologists. Isn’t that neat. One of the most famous horology museums is the Royal Greenwich observatory with is also located at the Prime Meridian.
