First ASAP Rocky’s mediocre sex tape and now this terrible James Wiseman news. This has been a terrible Thursday. It is a true crime against basketball that we will not be able to see the potential #1 pick lose during the second weekend of the NCAA tournament.
Too be honest, which I don’t do very often, it stinks for the Memphis fans who had the highest of hopes for this season. The entire city lives and dies with this team and this team had a real chance to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament.
This entire saga has been an absolute debacle on both sides. The NCAA, Penny, and James’ Mom screwed this kid out of college basketball and shame on them for doing that.
This stinks and I hope the best for all my Memphis brethren. You guys still have a great team who beat the Vols last week who were a Sweet 16 team last year. Also, I don’t think Penny is getting enough blame in this entire situation.

Trust me friends, it will get better.
