I am not proud of this, but I think I bullied an old man online today. I’m not going to lie it was fun as hell and to my knowledge he got mad mad. It is incredibly fun to mess with someone when you have no idea who they are or have even the faintest care about what they are arguing about.

So, this time of the year is wonderful for people that want to mess with people on twitter. The days following the last regular season college football games are usually designated for the firing of many coaches around the country.
During this time rumors and speculation run wild on who is getting hired or fired. It seems that every random college football fan has a source that knows something. Some people on the internet like to makeup fake rumors, say certain coaches are house hunting, and track plane tail numbers. I am the plane tail number guy because it is fun, and it wastes time at work.
Well yesterday I was on the wonderful website Flightaware.com and saw that there was a plane from Denton, Texas bound for Oxford, Mississippi. Denton is North of Dallas. Dallas is where SMU is. I was playfully connecting the dots.
Then I tweeted the following:
I thought it was silly and obviously only an idiot would believe it if you take half a second too look at my twitter timeline of 69 jokes and stupid puns.
NOT MY BOY GREG! My guy slides right into my DM’s.

Greg was upset that I was spreading rumors. He felt very strongly that SMU was far and away a better job than Ole Miss.
I called him an idiot and he was not thrilled with the name calling. He told me that SMU has a greater tradition than Ole Miss, and thinks I’m from Mississippi. I’m not from Mississippi but my kinfolk is. I decided to drop some knowledge on this idiots head.
Unsurprisingly Greg went radio silent and hopefully realized he was in the wrong. See even lower IQ people can learn, but at a slower pace.
Just remember dont be a Greg and take the bate online. This is a lesson to all of you.
Update:
Greg had some nice parting words for me
