The Grizzlies are back, I’m not saying it but other people are. With a huge victory last night against that Minnesota Timberwolves the Grizzlies have now brought their record to groundbreaking 2-5.

Here is some quick trivia for you. How many times have the Grizzlies scored 137 points or more in a game? If you don’t know this, you don’t know Grizzlies basketball. Last night marked the second time the Grizzlies have score 137 or more in a game. The other time was January 3,2007 against the Baron Davis lead Golden State Warriors. Accourding to stats if we score 137 or more we win everytime, so we should do that more.

Here is another fun fact. With 130 points last night, that marks the 15th time the Grizzlies have score 130 or more points in a game and the 9th time they have done it without going to overtime. How about that!

The guys:

Don’t get on Jaren Jackson too much this early. He is playing his first games since February 13,2019. He is still getting his conditioning and footing under him and yes, he is still awesome. He will be awesome for the next 15 years. People forget he is still a child and is 36 days younger than Ja. He is still a baby deer learning how to walk. We will save the fouling problem for another day.

Ja Morant is such a different specimen of human to what a stereotypical Grizzlies player looks like. I have not seen him in person yet, but how explosive and fast he is comes through the television. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it makes my bird twitch incredible amounts. His layups and missed dunks are going viral so just wait until he actually crams one on a guy.

Dillion Brooks played awesome last night, there is no debate about that. I think he is good for one of these games every week and a half. Hopefully he will be more consistent and stop getting ladies pregnant all around the United States.

I love Jonas Valančiūnas and Kyle Anderson. With our team being so fast and bouncy they are perfect a curveball to throw in the lineup. Jonas eats rebound like I eat chili cheese dogs and he is going to get to 10 point and 10 rebound every night no matter what. I don’t get how Kyle does it but somehow, he does it every time. He started his euro step down the lane last night and I went to the bathroom to make happy time with myself and came back to the couch and he had just made the layup.

Brandon Clarke is a freaking amazing basketball player. He played 21:56 minutes last night and in that time on the court the Grizzlies outscored the Timberwolves by 30 points. He was 7-7 on shots and had 8 rebounds. I love him and he is learning how to shoot 3’s.
The other guys:

Jae Crowder can keep shooting the way he is if he can go 4/6 from three like he did last night. I swear he doesn’t even look at the rim sometimes. He played good defense too.
Marko had a few wide-open shots that he passed up on last night. The he only reason he is in the NBA is because he is an elite shooter. Jesus he just needs to take some notes from Crowder. Hopefully he will figure it out because I like lefthanded ballers.

Tyus Jones is a wonderful point guard, he knows how to play basketball.
Bruno hit a 3 pointer and had 2 blocks in his 13 minutes. Hill had a good 13 minutes as well hitting a 3 pointer and having 3 assists.

May start seeing less and less of Grayson Allen if Brooks can continue to score efficiently and play good defense.
Sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssgo Grizz
