A recent article by Brett McMurphy was posted to watchstadium.com. He asked all the college football coaches and conference commissioners what their favorite music act or group was. Here are the top acts that the coaches and commissioners picked.
It seems a little insane to me that Dave Matthews Band is this high on the list so let’s look at the coaches that chose them as their favorite. Tom Herman and Justin Fuente don’t really seem like huge Dave guys but whatever.
So, let’s look at which band coaches picked that would make the best coaching staff. The best are Team Eric Church, Team Creedence Clearwater Revival, Team Kenny Chesney, and Team Prince (which was solely chosen because Mike Gundy and Dana Holgorsen would be such a contrast in terms of hair). Also Coach O picking CCR is amazing.
Also, a special shout out to Doc Holliday, the head coach of Marshall University, for NOT HAVING A FAVORITE MUSICAL ACT. What an ass hole. Here is a picture of a guy who doesnt like music:
